Featuring Richard Weissbourd, Ed.D., Harvard Graduate School of Education

At the 10th Annual Breakthroughs in Education event, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Hear from Richard Weissbourd about how families, schools, and the college admissions process can nurture kindness and compassion in youth. Weissbourd is a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Education and Faculty Director of Making Caring Common, a project that uses research and practitioner insights to influence the national conversation on raising and educating caring, ethical children.
  • Network with other members of the community who are passionate about educational equity while enjoying refreshments in Google's dynamic and unique space.
  • Learn more about how Breakthrough creates a culture of caring and prepares students for lifelong success through its unique six-year college access program.
